The next post will announce several mathematical events taking place in the next few weeks in Israel. One of these events is the Zabrodsky lectures at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, that are given this year by Paul Seidel, starting Thursday, January 19, 14:30. Recently, I was moved to discover Hebrew lecture notes that Alex prepared for his algebraic topology course 45 years ago. Alex was a beloved faculty member and a great algebraic topologist that was killed in a car accident driving to Rochester after giving a lecture at Cornell.
Above: Alex Zabrodsky (1936-1986), below 45 years old lecture notes of Alex’s course in algebraic topology that I recently found.
